Love of neighbour

Love of our neighbour consists of three things:
to desire the greater good of everyone,
to do what good we can when we can,
and to bear, excuse and hide others' faults.

- St John Vianney

Do you have a special devotion to St Jean-Marie Vianney?

(I ask because we do. My husband, although raised in England, was born in Lyons, and so we went to Ars a number of times when visiting his many relatives who still live around there a few years back).

He is such a wonderful saint.

I think he's a great saint, and have learnt a lot from what I've read about him, but I'm not sure I'd say I have a special devotion to him in particular. I particularly wanted to post a quote from him on this day because it was his feast day - and he's certainly very quotable.
